You know what? We might make it after all.

I successfully changed our thermostat last night and didn't short out anything. I also fixed a toilet and the sink-sprayer-attachment-thingy a week and a half ago. That plus the incredibly gracious influx of baby gifts from the recent baby showers gives me hope that we have at least the bare minimum of skills, knowledge and supplies to make it as we welcome the baby in about 30 days.

For the record, Melissa would be fine if she arrives in less than 30 days. She's a trooper, but ready.
