New Year, New Skills

Check out the photo above. Now, I had to put that toy in her hand, but after that, Caroline didn't let go for the better part of 15 minutes and was waving it all around.

She's also had her first true, 'sleep through the night'. We've been blessed with some pretty long bouts of sleep, but two days ago, she went from midnight to 8:00. No lie. And no, we didn't drug her or anything.

Christmas Update

So, Father Ween's been in need of a little no-computer therapy, so I apologize for not providing more regular updates from Caroline's first trip out of town. She was a champ on the car ride (so I'm told, I was in the other car with the dogs...) and Grammy and Popi are doing their best to spoil her rotten.

Its Christmas Eve and she's ready for the big day tomorrow. How do I know? Because I know she has no idea what's going on. Not her fault -- its just not time yet. Next year will be kind of crazy and 2010 will be full on Santa mania.

Third time's a charm...

Tonight was Caroline's third bath, and more importantly her first without any contamination of the bath water, if you know what I mean. Afterward, she seemed quite proud, and even smiled a bit for the camera. We smiled too.
