Yesterday, I completed phase one of two in exterior holiday illumination tactics. Caroline has to have a well decorated home. If not tasteful, it will be grand. So, after getting on the roof to blow off the pine straw and clean the gutters (key for icicle light placement in phase two) I broke out the light timer, extension cords and have now installed three mini white light Christmas trees, a lighted grazing doe and standing buck with motorized head movements and this year’s new additions, two twinkle-light reindeer and matching sleigh – and illuminated candy canes in the flower bed.
Phase two, which is currently delayed by cold rain, is to hang icicle lights on the gutters. Full pictures will follow- an artist does not show his work until completed.
